Breaking Dawnby Stephenie Meyer
The long awaited fourth (and final) book of the Twilight series is not a disappointment. Not only has Meyer done the improbable in having a book release frenzy to rival Harry Potter, she has delivered a story that will delight and satisfy her readers, whether they are pro-Edward or pro-Jacob.
Bella Swan is impatient. She wants to get through the wedding to get to the honeymoon. Then get through the honeymoon so that her mortal life can end and she can begin eternity with Edward. The wedding is perfect, until Jacob shows up and everything goes from perfect to even better, then comes crashing down. The honeymoon has its ups and downs too. And when Bella realizes exactly why she’s having crazy dreams about a child, feeling tired and sick all the time, and showing a little bump on her tummy, things just go crazy. Book two is told from Jacob’s perspective as he learns about Bella’s condition and has to make a terrible choice between people he loves. A sad/happy ending to his story leads right back into Bella’s voice in book three. And just when you thought you could get comfortable, Alice has a little vision and it’s back to frenzied action.
Wow.
