Shark Girl

The verse format fits this story quite well, as the sparse words echo the small space Jane feels she now occupies. One day she was a normal fifteen year old girl, going to the beach and looking forward to a career as a professional artists. Then, in the blink of an eye she is a survivor of a shark attack and an amputee. Everything starts over has she has to learn again - how to dress herself, how to cook, how to draw, and how to live and love.
