Just when Grubbs thought things couldn’t get any worse, they do. Saved from certain death at the hands of Lord Loss, he finds himself forced to confront the magic he’s been trying to keep at bay. Beranabas and Kernel (from The Demon Thief) want Grubbs to help fight demons in their own universe, but he’s not sure he’s up to the task.
